Since 2003, Textainer has been a long-standing manager for the intermodal equipment leasing contract issued by the U.S. Military's Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC). 

Textainer's contract with SDDC provides the U.S. Military with management of intermodal equipment leasing services for peacetime, contingency, disaster and humanitarian operations on a worldwide basis. Textainer also offers mission-critical information technology and related container support functions.
